Running Mate is proud to be associated with Shoes for Planet Earth.

With headquarters in Sydney, Shoes for Planet Earth is a not for profit organization which was started in 2009 as a way to get running / sports shoes to people in need.

The founders, runners Viv Kartsounis and Nick Drayton wanted to give people an opportunity to participate in sport and change their lives for the better!

Working together with local and international communities and companies, Shoes for Planet Earth provide recycled running / sports shoes to those in need both in Australia (e.g. homeless) and around the world.

Running Mate’s collection efforts will involve Shoe Drives in the Sutherland Shire twice yearly. Details will be posted on our website, facebook and instragram pages.

If donating shoes, please note that they must be:

• Running / sports shoes only
• In good condition
• No holes
• Good Soles
• Cleaned
• Tied together in pairs (no bags or boxes)
